Peptide Quarterly
Editorial policy
The rules this publication is written under, including the ones that are enforced by the build rather than promised by the editor.
Sourcing
Every figure in this publication is a count returned by a named public register on a stated date, or a value read directly from this project’s validated corpus. The request that produced it is printed in the sources block of the page that uses it, and the full retrieved result is published as a data file in the project behind this title.
A figure that cannot be shown this way is not printed. That rules out market sizes, growth rates, forecasts and projections entirely, since none of those is something a register returns. Where a reader may expect such a number and will not find one, the article says why.
Attribution
No individual byline. No invented contributors, no invented masthead, no personal identity. Every page is attributed to the editorial desk, and the about page states exactly what that means.
No interviews, no quotations from people, no unnamed sources, no implied access. Where a document is quoted it is a published document, quoted in the source’s own wording, with a link.
Argument and finding
A magazine carries arguments; that is what distinguishes it from a database. The rule here is that an argument is never mixed with the counts it rests on. Each feature keeps its reading in a chapter of its own, introduced as the desk’s reading rather than as something the data shows, and every factual claim underneath it is sourced independently of the argument.
Pull quotes are required to be verbatim sentences from the article they sit in. That is checked when the page is built: a pull quote that does not appear in its own chapter stops the build rather than reaching a reader.
Clinical evidence
This is a business and regulatory publication. It reports registry counts, document counts and application-register results. It does not present any compound’s clinical evidence, does not summarise study findings, does not compare compounds on outcomes, and does not carry evidence tables.
That is a declared position in the build as well as a policy: every page here declares that it presents no compound’s medical evidence, and a page that declared otherwise while remaining publishable would fail the build. The reference layer that does carry evidence is a separate publication with separate review requirements.
Derived values
Where this publication reports a tier or any other value that was derived rather than retrieved, it prints the basis for the derivation in the same place. A derived tier describes what a corpus holds. It is never presented as an assessment of clinical efficacy, safety, study quality or scientific consensus, and it is never ranked, scored or converted into a rating.
Commercial position
Peptide Quarterly carries no advertising and no sponsored placement, and sells no position in any feature, department or contents page. No organisation named in this issue has paid for, reviewed, or been shown any part of it before publication.
There is no affiliate arrangement, no paid placement in any table, no paid position in any contents page, and no commercial relationship with any organisation named in this issue. Nothing in Issue One was shown to anyone outside this desk before publication.
This publication also sells nothing. There is no product page, no price anywhere on it, and no route from any article to a transaction.
